Status
HTTP 404, title Not found. One of the the request itself errors. Branch on code, never on the status or the prose.
Common causes
- A typo in the id or handle.
- The thing belongs to another customer.
- It was deleted.
What to do
No such thing, including anything belonging to another customer. Never a sign that it exists elsewhere.
Example
The body arrives as application/problem+json. Most responses add detail about the occurrence, and some add fields of their own.
