Our TikTok account audit uses a multi-factor scoring algorithm that analyzes an account's recent posts. The overall account score (0-100) is calculated from four weighted components: (1) Engagement rate (40 points) — we measure likes, comments, shares, and views relative to follower count and compare against TikTok benchmarks for the account's follower tier (see our
TikTok Engagement Rate Calculator for a detailed breakdown). (2) Content trend (20 points) — using linear regression on engagement rates over time, we determine if performance is improving, stable, or declining. (3) Posting consistency (20 points) — accounts that post regularly (0.5-3 times per day) score highest, as consistent posting is key to algorithmic reach. (4) Follower legitimacy (20 points) — we cross-reference engagement rates with follower counts to flag accounts with suspiciously low engagement for their size (similar to our
Instagram Fake Follower Checker approach).
