ShortsIntel.com ("ShortsIntel", "we", "our") provides social monitoring tools for B2C growth teams by monitoring and analyzing competitor videos. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our websites, browser extensions, progressive web and mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

a. Information you provide

  • Account details such as name, email address, password, organisation or team information.
  • Content you save to ShortsIntel — competitor videos, URLs, analysis, transcripts, annotations, comments and any other materials ("User Content").

b. Information collected automatically

  • Usage data (log files, device information, IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring pages and timestamps).
  • Diagnostic and analytics data via cookies and tools such as PostHog and Sentry.
  • AI-generated metadata derived from your User Content (e.g., transcripts, OCR text, hooks, tags, audience signals).

c. Information from third-party services

We may receive information about you from authentication providers (e.g., Google), payment processors (e.g., Stripe) or other integrations you choose to connect.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, maintain and improve the Service;
  • To create AI-generated metadata and enable search, tagging and collaboration features;
  • To process transactions and manage subscriptions;
  • To communicate with you about product updates, security alerts and support;

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit, least-privilege access controls and regular audits. Nonetheless, no Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy. You may delete User Content at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
